A few kilometers from Haras de Lamballe, a new exhibition on the theme of the horse isto discover the Manor of Vaumadeuc.

After exposure to Trégastel, last summer, more focused on portraits, the painterFrançois Le Roux Briochin installed his oils and watercolors in the Manor ofVaumadeuc. Creationist painter, he was trained at the Beaux-Arts de Rennes and continues to the municipal school of Fine Arts in Paris. Belonging to a family of horsemen, the artist likes to draw and paint horses. This is the theme he chose to expose to the Vaumadeuc 13septembre. « The anatomy, bodybuilding apparent I likethe horse, » said Francois Le Roux. « The horse is the animal that is closest to the skilledartistic point of view, in his muscles and his attitudes. »

Horses out of the imaginary

Defined itself as a designer as a colorist, François Le Roux performs work of inspirationfrom classic paintings and photographs. Draft horse to horse racing, through the Anglo-Arab, he seized the salient muscle, eye a little crazy and bite the animal out of hisimagination. By the morphology of the animal, its attitudes, sketches leave notes burstof passion, violence, or quiet elegance. Offering to the visitors some thirty paintings,FrançoisLe Roux explores the world of horses: animals alone, dressage horses,stabled, battle of standards, grooms, riders, etc.. Drawing from live models, the painteralso creates nudes and portraits in watercolor, oil or acrylic.
